DR. PABLEE WONG
Licensed Psychologist 

Dr. Wong brings nearly 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, a master’s degree in counselling, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She offers services in English and Chinese (fluent in Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin), with a current focus on autism and psychological assessments.

Her experience spans child and youth mental health services, non-profit agencies, private practice, and hospital settings. After completing her master’s degree, she began her career providing addiction treatment to youth in a detention centre. These varied roles have shaped her understanding of the challenges children and families face and the importance of care that responds to their individual needs.

Dr. Wong also spent more than a year volunteering with the Child Protection Unit at the Philippines General Hospital. Working alongside pediatricians and social workers, she supported children involved in abuse and neglect investigations, provided community psychoeducation, and offered treatment to families.

Her desire to better understand psychological difficulties and use that understanding to guide treatment led her to pursue doctoral training in clinical psychology. After earning her doctorate, she worked briefly at BC Children’s Hospital, providing psychological care to children with medical conditions. Since completing her pre-doctoral internship, her work in private settings has focused on autism and psychological assessments.
