Dr. Wong is bilingual in Chinese and English and has always had a strong passion for working with children and families. She holds both a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and a master's degree in counseling. After completing her Master's Degree, Dr. Wong gained valuable experience by working in various settings, including community mental health, non-profit agencies, and private practice, accumulating around 20 years of experience. Her dedication to her profession even led her to work abroad in the Philippines, where she supported a team of pediatricians and social workers at a Child Protection unit for over a year.

 

Dr. Wong's interest in psycho-diagnostic assessment sparked her desire to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. Following her pre-doctoral internship, she has been providing autism and psychological assessments, refining her skills in this area.  Furthermore, she completed a post-doctoral position at the BC Children's Hospital, where she provided valuable intervention in the field of medical psychology.
