PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT
Psycho-Educational (Psych-Ed) assessment includes interviews, cognitive testing, achievement testing, and school records reviewing. Additional testing to evaluate Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or other mental disorder may be needed.

Psych-Ed assessment typically is used to assist with education planning, to gain better understanding of a child's cognitive and academic functioning, and to determine if a child has a specific learning disorder (i.e., learning disability).
AUTISM (ASD) ASSESSMENT
We provide diagnostic assessment for those with suspected autism spectrum disorder. The assessment involves examining the child's developmental history, behaviours, social interactions and communication skills.
At the end of the assessment, the family will receive a report with results and recommendations. We follow B.C. standards and guidelines in conducting our assessment. If a child meets criteria of autism, the final report can be used towards applying for autism funding.

We understand that some families from Interior and Northern part of BC may not have access to assessment services. Contact us if you plan to travel to Vancouver for an assessment.

INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY ASSESSMENT
The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate if a person meets criteria for Intellectual Disability. Testing results may be used for education and intervention planning.
An individual may be able to apply for support or funding if they meet the criteria for Intellectual Disability.
