DR. PABLEE WONG, R. PSYCH. (#2471)

Dr. Wong has always been passionate about working with children and their families. She has a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and a master's degree in counselling. Dr. Wong worked in community mental health teams, non-profit agencies, and private practice after she received her master degree for approximately 20 years.  In between, she also has worked abroad in the Philippines, supporting a team of paediatricians and social workers at a Child Protection unit for over a year. 


Dr. Wong's interest in psycho-diagnostic assessment motivated her to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. She has been providing autism and psychological assessments since her pre-doctoral internship. She also completed a one-year post-doctoral part-time position at a local children's hospital, providing intervention in the field of medical psychology.

DR. SOOMIN YU, R. PSYCH. (#2470)

Dr. Yu is a bilingual (English and Korean) Registered Psychologist in British Columbia, who provides assessment services to youth and adults with a variety of mental health difficulties and cognitive issues.  With experience in psychodiagnostic, neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychovocational assessments, Dr. Yu assesses and diagnoses problems in thinking skills (e.g., learning, memory, attention, intellectual ability) and feeling (e.g., mood, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, phobia).

Dr. Yu obtained her B.Sc. in psychology and B.A. in political science from the University of British Columbia, and her M.A. in counselling psychology and Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Adler University.  She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at Fraser Health, providing both assessment and therapy services through clinical rotations located at multiple Fraser Health sites, including Royal Columbian Hospital, Acquired Brain Injury Services, Burnaby Mental Health, and Surrey Mental Health.
