You do not need a referral to access our psychological assessment services.

Starting December 2024, our hourly rate for adult assessments will be $250.

All assessment services are provided by a registered psychologist.

Private psychological services are not covered by the MSP.

As each client’s extended health plan is unique, we are unable to comment on the specifics of your extended health care coverage. It is your responsibility to confirm that the specific services you require are covered by your extended health plan.

We do not offer direct billing to extended health plans or third-party insurance providers. Clients pay fees directly to us, receive receipts from us, and submit their receipts to their insurers for reimbursement.

We accept payments by cheque or Interac e-transfer. We do not accept credit card payments at this time.

Our psychologists adhere to professional ethics codes and legal requirements regarding confidentiality and privacy. Your personal information is treated as highly confidential information. We take data protection seriously and implement appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. It is important to note that there may be exceptions to confidentiality in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others or as required by law. However, we will communicate any such limitations or legal obligations clearly to you.

We require a 2-week notice if you wish to cancel the entire assessment. We require a 2-business-day notice if you need to reschedule an appointment.

There is free unlimited street parking available within the residential area around the block. There is also pay parking available underground in our building.

Our office is conveniently located one block away from the Dunbar Bus Loop. Our office can be easily reached by taking Buses #2, 7, 41, or R4. Please check the TransLink website for the most accurate and up-to-date travel information.
